Cori Shepherd Stern has made multiple false accusations against me, Mica Ringo, not only to cast and crew of Shiny, Happy People and Amazon but now also to an entirely new group of people at The Human Line Project. Her lawyer’s allegations in the cease and desist originally sent to me in August of 2025 falsely claimed that for the entirety of our relationship, “You have repeatedly and unlawfully stalked, harassed, intimidated, defamed, and invaded the privacy of my client.”
Before anyone opens themselves up to legal liability by joining her campaign of malicious defamation, I encourage you to listen or read through this 2.5 hour recording session from September 2024, taken after more than 4 months of working together very closely. Which parts of this recording show that Cori Shepherd Stern is talking to someone she fears or someone she thinks is stalking her? Please point out exactly which parts are stalking or harassment with time code.
Throughout this recording, I am coherent, professional, and engaged. If I am psychotic, how did I hide it for 2.5 hours? If I was purposefully hiding it, then I was not psychotic and her “diagnosis” collapses.
She cannot have it both ways. Either I was stalking her during this recording, in which case she engaged willingly with her stalker for 2.5 hours. Or I was not, in which case her claim that the stalking lasted the ‘whole relationship’ is false.
Motive
The parallels between The Human Line Project website and the Recovering Alumni website are obvious.
1:10:38 – And a lot of people told me that being able to share their experience, sometimes for the very first time, and to get that feedback from a community of people who could say like, you know, what you went through was wrong and you shouldn’t have gone through that and you know, your reaction to it is valid. Like, after feeling, you know, a lifetime of feeling like it’s my fault that this happened, I did it wrong…And so, you know, I think that the comment section was just as important as you know, the stories and the blog posts, because that’s where people could really connect in a human-to-human level and not feel so alone and isolated and shamed that they had this bad experience when everybody else seemed to think it was great.
This was the last, or one of the last, recorded sessions I did with the team from Story Force Entertainment for Shiny, Happy People: Teenage Holy War on Amazon Prime. The show documented how my website, Recovering Alumni, was a catalyst for change by first collecting and publishing the stories of victims who had been previously silenced and then taking them to the press. Cori Shepherd Stern saw the power of that model in the both that website started in 2009 and the Recovering Grace website started in 2011. Both websites caused significant real world change and were sources of inspiration for their respective seasons of Shiny, Happy People on Amazon prime, executive produced by Cori Shepherd Stern.
What is more likely? A Hollywood producer and public relations guru with a long history of attempting to start movements (The Name Campaign, 52 hearts, Strongheart, etc) sees the model and decides to appropriate it for themselves by monetizing it with litigation on behalf of a group of society’s latest victims via “AI psychosis”? Or is it more likely that a 25 year old with absolutely no history, interest or experience in community organizing, trauma support, litigation, or technology would get this million dollar idea completely on his own and buy the domain name on April 5, 2025?
I came up with the model so I understand exactly what it takes to pull it off (minus the monetizing it via litigation). The volume and speed of press coverage the Human Line Project has received doesn’t just happen. In conversations, I’ve had push back on that point by folks who insist the reporters are eating up these stories. While that may be true now, it didn’t start that way. I guarantee if Allan Brooks had cold contacted any reporter with his story, he would have been completely ignored. Someone reporters trusted had to vouch for him initially and once you get the first few reporters signed on, the rest start to fall more easily like dominos. Was that person Cori Shepherd Stern or another member of The Human Line Project? Because I guarantee the vast majority of these stories in the press were pitched and placed not organically sourced.
The idea that everyone organically met on reddit in late May, chatted through June and then by July were already in the press is simply ludicrous – unless a professional was involved. For people who long to believe they are on a special mission on the cutting edge of humanity that requires no expertise outside their lived experience, that reality might be a pill too bitter to swallow. But last time you refused to take your medicine, you ended up in “AI psychosis.” The leadership of the Human Line Project is preying on the exact same hero mechanics that the chatgpt used to pull you into delusions and because you didn’t learn your lesson and just blamed the technology, you fell for it again. Are you going to double down? Or double back and head towards reality?
PS – At 26:33, Cori Shepherd Stern demonstrates her affinity for and reliance on Artificial Intelligence generated slop while Mica Ringo demonstrates critical thinking and basic source vetting. How do you know Stern isn’t the one in “AI psychosis” from her chatgpt affirming her seething hatred of me? I bet if you checked her chat logs you’d be horrified to realize you are siding with a child trafficking con artist. Don’t feel too badly though because she is VERY good and has conned A LOT of people and she only chooses targets when they are vulnerable.
