Did Brisson Perjure Himself?

The application Etienne Brisson filed for 501c(3) status on April 8, 2026, included this statement at the end:

I declare under the penalties of perjury that I am authorized to sign this application…and that I have examined the application and to the best of my knowledge it is true, correct, and complete.

Unfortunately, this signed statement to the US Government has multiple conflicts not only with Brisson’s public statements – it has internal contradictions that should have resulted in a denial.

For example, Brisson clicked “no” to this question, a key component of the right to be tax deductible charity:

Do you or will you attempt to influence legislation?

Yet, on page 4, he expressly states that political advocacy is a core part of the mission:

Tax deductions are for charitable work – not political advocacy.
