Last month, I filed suit in British Columbia Supreme Court against Etienne Brisson and The Human Line Project for defamation and intentional infliction of mental suffering. This action follows a formal cease and desist sent by my counsel on May 25, 2026 which was ignored.
Canadian Defamation Law
In Canada, the burden is on the defendants to prove that what they said was either true or opinion based on reasonable facts. Brisson will be unable to meet that burden.
I’ve already documented how they falsely reported me to the police for “AI psychosis.” I believe that call was intended to intimidate my reporting. Over the course of several months, Brisson and members of The Human Line Project have published multiple false statements about my mental health and behavior, including:
- Suffers from AI induced delusions and erotomania;
- Has and is engaged in ai induced harassment, stalking, and defamation
- Has and is engaged in criminal activity; and/or
- Has and is engaged in copyright infringement.
Every single one of these allegations is false and evidence of a malicious smear campaign.
Threatened by Original Reporting
This website was the first to report:
- The Human Line Project is a FOR PROFIT corporation, even though they represented themselves as solely a non-profit.
- The corporate paperwork suggests their operational model is litigation financing which anticipates multiple rounds and multiple investors.
- The cozy and potentially inappropriate relationship between Human Line Project and Tech Justice Law.
- Their undisclosed profit motive is a SERIOUS conflict of interest when they solely present themselves as a safe space for trauma survivors to find support and heal.
- Brisson lacks qualifications in any of the relevant fields: AI, technology, law, academia, mental health, or trauma support. His limited expertise is sales and sales based businesses. His ability to secure partnerships with Stanford, Princeton, etc on his own merit is wildly improbable by any plausible definition and points to undisclosed coordination behind the scenes.
I look forward to my day in court.
