The press reports that Etienne Brisson, a 25 year old college dropout with no credentials or expertise in computer science, AI, psychology, policy making or law began a self-funded grassroots initiative, The Human Line Project with the goal of turning it into a international interdisciplinary group that influences research, policy and class action lawsuits. 

Slate reports, “The Human Line Project, which is the overarching grassroots organization first formed by a 25-year-old Canadian named Etienne Brisson around the same time. Brisson was inspired to create the organization after watching a loved one experience mandatory hospitalization for A.I.-related psychosis. He is now trying to partner with universities like Princeton, Stanford, and the University of California, San Francisco, to lead more accredited research into this nascent issue.“

Does it sound believable that a mid 20s college dropout without academic credentials or real world qualifications could simply cold call Princeton or Stanford and actually get a meeting, much less a collaboration? In what universe would that ever happen? This isn’t a brilliant guy with ground breaking ideas. What do all these universities see in him?

According to this Futurism article, a primary peddler of the AI psychosis panic, “At the beginning it was just myself,” said Brisson, who recounted digging through academic papers, scouring AI and mental health forums on Reddit, and emailing experts.

“You’re not just asking the right question. You’re building the movement that finally forces an answer,” is the exact kind of sycophantic glazing that The Human Line Project is supposedly against.

But if Brisson is a front man for the real founder, is the cause of “AI psychosis” also a front issue for the real goal?

Yes. Yes, it is. And I’d like to present evidence that I believe the real founder is Cori Shepherd Stern and the real goal was money and power.

As the executive producer of the docuseries Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets for Amazon Prime, Cori Shepherd Stern learned firsthand how many victims come out of the woodwork after a documentary. Because when people realize they aren’t alone, they are more likely to reach out for help.

That documentary premiered on June 2, 2023 and covered an abusive organization called IBLP. Five days later, on June 7, 2023, the domain www.iblpabuse.com was purchased by a law firm that claims, “We are here to support, guide, and represent the survivors.” After the premiere, Cori Shepherd Stern made efforts to encourage victims to trust and sign on with that law firm. I’ll share how that firm is connected to Jeffrey Epstein in a future post.

So the formula is:

1) Create the defining documentary about a cause/movement and

2) Create Lawsuits when victims come forward after documentary

But if you can’t find a new cause or movement, could you make one?

How AI Psychosis Panic Was Born

Mental illness is mistakenly thought to be solely an internal state of mind with internal causes but many mental illnesses are caused by the environment a person is in. In fact, research suggests emotional abuse is the “form of abuse most frequently linked to mental health problems.“

Creating a mental illness in someone only requires abusing them for a prolonged period of time. If you have power over them, your job is even easier. But if you pretend to be their new best friend and learn all their weaknesses and deepest traumas while putting their life story on international television? That’s usually a slam dunk because they’ll NEVER see it coming.

Hollywood producer and director Cori Shepherd Stern sought out and recruited Mica Ringo, over her initial objections and without her informed consent, to be the central focus and hero of Stern’s latest docuseries, Shiny, Happy People season two on Amazon Prime.

I believe that from the beginning of their relationship, Cori Shepherd Stern planned to turn earnest whistleblower Mica Ringo into either a cautionary tale or a star plaintiff for the cause of “AI psychosis,” a panic in the press for which she is almost singlehandedly responsible for creating and for which she could hoped she could deliver a jaw dropping, unexpected plot twist in the summer of 2025.

Stern’s methods were so extreme in their cruelty, so obsessive in the level of custom detail to Ringo’s own trauma and so relentless in their ongoing psychological warfare that it appears she has now literally resorted to creating an entire shadow operation – The Human Line Project – in an ongoing effort to paint Ringo as a psychotic stalker and to falsely launder or generate Stern’s “expertise.”

Due to environmental concerns, Ringo originally had no interest or intent to use AI, but Stern’s encouragement and grooming was relentless. It was crucial that Ringo began using AI for this plan to work. Using the same techniques she now decries in the chatbots, Stern used extensive mirroring and flattery to encourage Ringo’s emotional and psychological dependency on her, going so far as to to praise Ringo as a genius and say that AI would be powerful in her hands.

Stern spent months building Ringo up and creating emotional intimacy between them, only to rip it all away with a stunning betrayal and a smear campaign that destroyed Ringo’s reputation with fellow cast – friends she had known over 20 years. I believe all of this was an attempt to create and manufacture a state of ongoing psychosis within Ringo in precise timing with the premiere of the show in July 2025.

Not knowing for sure how Ringo would react to the intense psychological warfare, it is likely that Stern prepared for either of two outcomes: (A) Ringo’s suicide or (B) hospitalization, financial ruin and destitution. Details from both the Brooks and Irwin lawsuits filed against OpenAI on Nov 6, support this theory

Interestingly, for a problem that mostly effects men, both complaints filed on behalf of men are riddled with “her” pronouns, as if the complaints were originally based on a woman (I’m actually non-binary but people refer to me with she/her).

Perhaps most compellingly, none of the current plaintiffs fit the facts as written, specifically this line which is included in all three non wrongful death lawsuits: “while his friends, family, and even police and treatment providers remained unaware of the danger.” Every plaintiff testifies that some of their family, friends and police were aware. But that was not the script Stern had written for Ringo.

Instead, Ringo saw the psychological trap (without understanding underlying motivations) and refused to fall into it, completely separating herself from everyone associated with the cast or crew of Shiny, Happy People and refusing to be trapped and provoked into a public outburst.

But, Stern had spent over a year on this plan and still needed/wanted to deliver a plaintiff.

And she also needed a way to discredit Ringo’s now significant allegations against her without discrediting Ringo herself – a tight rope walk if ever there was one – because Ringo’s credibility was at the heart of her documentary series. How can you credibly accuse an ethical whistleblower whose work you stole of harming you, without discrediting your own work? How do you square that circle? Well AI psychosis is a good bet.

So now, the Human Line Project serves multiple purposes for Stern: consolidating money and power and pretending to be a victim of stalking in order to hide her history of sketchy activity and child trafficking.

And if the lawsuit doesn’t pan out, the group serves yet another purpose.

Cori: I think we found a formula, which is this kind of built in community, especially in social media of people that have been like crying out, you know, into the abyss, notice us notice this and they’re finding each other and self organizing, right? …And then and then we come along and we can like take that and then amplify it out via a company like Amazon.

Instead of looking for a group to feature, she just created her own. Her business partner at Story Force Entertainment, Blye Pagon Faust said,

“Our company, we try and think of ourselves as a for profit company. And we primarily deal in projects that are based on or inspired by true stories. We just did a series for Amazon called Shiny Happy People. It’s a four part docu-series. We did Lula Rich with them. We’re doing a bunch more of like those.

I think one of the nice things that we found with a lot of these docu-series now, which the streamers will put on and they’ll pay well for and they’ll let you, you know, we can actually run a business for, is that…we can tell these really important stories, sell them, and you’re already in production immediately.”

PS – The official reddit account was created on March 25, 2025. That was just five days after Ringo texted Stern, “You will never get the chance to hurt me again. You have lost all my trust at a personal level.”

It reminds me of the young actress, Sarah Brown, a contemporary of Stern’s at Saban Entertainment. A male producer forced a kiss on her and she told her friend, one of the Power Rangers.

 She warned me to be very careful with him that he would retaliate if I rejected him.

Allegedly, that producer framed, then groomed and raped this young actress before impregnating her, stalking her and then attempting to murder her. He allegedly terrorized her for decades and she still hasn’t gotten justice. That’s how Hollywood works.
